Satoyama villa HONJIN
"Satoyama Villa HONJIN" is a historic accommodation remodeled from an important base, the Honjin, where the lord of the Matsumoto Domain rested during the Edo period. The current building was rebuilt in 1913 (Taisho 2) and retains the typical architectural style of a Honjin. Recognized as a valuable cultural property, it was designated as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan in 2021.Enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience in this historic space where the lord once rested.It takes 40 minutes (27km) by car from Myojinkan to HONJIN.
